Sculptra® is an injectable volumising treatment that stimulates the build up of the body’s own collagen to smooth out lines and wrinkles and restore lost facial volume to give you a fuller, younger-looking face. A topical anaesthetic can be applied to the skin before the Sculptra® is injected with a very fine needle to reduce any pain or discomfort you may feel. Sculptra® works by stimulating collagen production in the skin and creates volume where it has been lost with the ageing process. Results with Sculptra® are gradual and depending on the level of improvement desired and the severity of the problem, anywhere between 3-5 monthly treatments may be required. Once the desired look has been achieved, the results can last for 2-3 years.
