Hyperhidrosis

Stop excessive sweating

What is Hyperhidrosis?

Sweating is one of the most important ways in which the body loses heat, but if you sweat in amounts far greater than your body needs to control your temperature then you might have Hyperhidrosis. Excessive sweating (Hyperhidrosis) can be extremely uncomfortable and embarrassing, but you don’t need to put up with it.

Excessive sweating doesn't have to be a social problem

Excessive sweating is a physiological problem that has nothing to do with cleanliness. It is not known why some people are affected and others are not. However, studies show that 1/3 to 1/2 of people with hyperhidrosis have a relative with a similar problem, suggesting that there may be a genetic cause.

Treatment of Hyperhidrosis

Botox can be prescribed to control your excessive sweating by temporarily blocking the chemical signals from the nerves that stimulate the sweat glands, which stops the sweating.

You will notice a huge reduction in sweating in about one to two weeks after your first treatment and the results will last between 6 month and 18 months.
