Helena Collier BSc RGN DNC PGDp (Medical Aesthetics) - Independent Prescriber and Medical Aesthetic Practitioner. Helena is now working towards a Masters Degree (MA) in Cosmetic Medicine at Greenwich University London - one of the first Medical Aesthetic Practitioners in the UK to undertake this depth of study ... a leading light in the field of Cosmetic Medicine.
All consultations and treatments are performed by owner Helena Collier, a highly skilled practitioner who trained in Harley Street London with two of the finest doctors in the field of medical aesthetics. Helena is an experienced clinician who has worked autonomously for several years.
Helena has recently become one of the first Health Practitioners in the UK to achieve the Post Graduate Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine with a commendation from Greenwich University London. This demonstrates her strong commitment in ensuring that all clients receive the highest standard of aesthetic medical care. Recognised as one of the most skilled aesthetic practitioners in Scotland she continues to train extensively. Helena regularly attends by exclusive invitation, Allergans Facial Aesthetic Masterclasses with world leaders in Aesthetic Medicine such as Dr Mauricio De Maio and Dr Koenraad De Boulle. This is an opportunity to enhance skills and perfect injection techniques.
Helena has dedicated 26 years of her career to NHS Scotland. She began her nursing career in 1982 and after nine years working within the field of general medicine she progressed to specialise in community nursing, gaining a District Nursing qualification in 1993. In 1999 she advanced into General Practice and continued to develop a unique and innovative style of nursing, always focused on individual care.
Helena became an Emergency Nurse Practitioner and Independent Prescriber in 2004 after completing several advanced courses that led to achieving a BSc in Nursing Studies at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh. With a passion for nurse education she has been invited to give several educational lectures in the field of acute medicine and nurse prescribing within Edinburgh universities.
Darryl Collier is a director of skintalks clinic and the business development manager. He brings a wealth of experience to the business with a long award winning career in management and customer care. He is a vital link in the continued success story of skintalks. Darryl is the voice of Skintalks, always working hard to ensure you receive a service of excellence from the point of contact to the truly professional ongoing after care.
